March Administrator Highlight
For the month of March, ACOVA is happy to highlight, Jacob McCormick from Sacaton Elementary School District #18
It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Mr. Jacob McCormick for recognition in Career and Technical Education (CTE) leadership. With over 20 years of dedicated service in the field of CTE—17 of those within public education—and the past four years at Sacaton Elementary School District #18, Jacob has exemplified the highest standards of technical expertise, innovation, and leadership.
Jacob’s impact on our district has been profound and far-reaching. His work has been instrumental in transforming the technological and security infrastructure of our schools. From implementing district-wide internet access solutions to engineering and maintaining complex security systems, Jacob has ensured that our students and staff operate in a safe, secure, and modern learning environment.
He has led initiatives that go beyond routine technical support—developing and installing web filtering protocols, overseeing cybersecurity practices, and integrating surveillance and access control systems across all areas of the district, including hallways, classrooms, and even transportation. His ability to assess needs, design solutions, and execute implementation has made him an invaluable leader within our CTE program and school community.
Jacob’s vision, dedication, and technical leadership reflect the core values of Career and Technical Education: real-world problem-solving, career readiness, and innovation. His contributions not only support the daily operations of our district but also serve as a model of excellence for other education professionals in the CTE field.
I wholeheartedly support Jacob McCormick’s recognition for his outstanding leadership in Career and Technical Education and encourage you to honor the profound difference he has made in public education.
